Nov 10
Common Hour (12:30 p.m.) Stanley Druckenmiller—not the building—but rather Bowdoin’s current rich and philanthropically-inclined alum par excellence gives his “Perspective on Maximizing the Liberal Arts Experience at Bowdoin College and Thereafter”; i.e. how to make a lot of dough and perhaps do some good stuff “on the side.” S.U., Morrell Lounge. Campus-Wide Extravaganza (10:00 p.m.-ish) LASO sponsors a Salsa Merengue Dance to close out Cuba Week, Helmreich hosts a country-style Hoedown, and Burnett throws a bash along the overdone and always tacky 2-Article of Clothing theme (i.e. how better for all us Bears to 1show off our newly-accumulated winter fat reserves). Dagget; Helmreich; Burnett.
